GIRLS BRIGADE – 107TH N.I. COMPANY



Our Girls Brigade Company meets every Tuesday evening as follows:



Under 5’s - 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm

Explorers (5-7) - 6.00 pm – 7.30 pm

Juniors (8-10) - 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm

Seniors (11-13) - 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm

Brigaders (14-18) - 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm

We have a full programme each Tuesday night, which is set by G.B. Headquarters. Our badge work comes under 4 main headings: SPIRITUAL, EDUCATION, PHYSICAL & SERVICE.

This year our badges have included: Scripture, T-Shirt design & printing, marching and entertaining an Audience.



Throughout the year we also have activities that include:



ENROLMENT SERVICE: This is the most important date in our G.B. Calendar. We all attend a special Church service, where our Chaplain enrols us a full members of the Company.



PARTIES & OUTINGS: We have a Christmas party where Santa makes a guest appearance for the Explorers. We have days out to Open Farms, Adventure Play parks, swimming centres & ten-pin bowling etc.



ANNUAL DISPLAY: This is held early May when G.B. finishes for the year. This gives girls the opportunity to perform for their parents and friends. Our badges & trophies are awarded at the Display also.

The Company section re-opens on Tuesday 13th September with a BBQ.
We are meeting at the Church Car Park at 6.30pm and will return at approx 9.30pm.
We look forward to seeing all our members back with us again and any girl who is interested in joining us this session, would be more than welcome and we would be delighted to see you there.

The Explorer section re-opens on Tuesday 20th September at 6.00pm

We hope to have an exciting programme for all sections this year and hoping for a fun filled year.

Following the success of our Table Quiz over the past few years we are having another one on Friday 20th January 2006. This is always a fun night. Everyone welcome.
